For body fat loss to occur, you must first get the fat cell (adipocyte) to release the fat into the bloodstream. THEN, the free fatty acids must be delivered to the working muscles where they are burned for energy.

To explain in simple words how fat loss occurs you must see your fat as cells (fat cells are called adipocyte), now this fat cell must release your fat into your bloodstream trough which it comes in the muscles which you’re working out where they are burned for energy.

The hormone adrenaline (known as epinephrine) must secret to send signals to your fat cells (adipocyte). Trough adrenaline receptors known as adrenoreceptors your fat cells will receive this signal.

Our fat cells have 2 receptors Beta 1 (B1) and Alpha 2 (A2). B1 receptors are good and A2 receptors are bad.
The B1 receptors helps burning your fat by breaking it down to release it into your bloodstream, this is done by activating hormone sensitive lipase.

Now you probably already know that A2 receptors do the opposite, they hold down the fat releasing enzymes in your fat cells and support fat storage.

We women have a lot of these bad A2 receptors around our hips and thighs and that’s why most women are fatter in this region of the body, and men have a lot of A2 receptors in the lower abdominal region of the body.

It’s the first place where your body stores fat and the last place where you’ll lose it, now you know why it’s so hard to get rid of the stomach fat and why it stores so much fat in these places.

And more often than not the reason why you can’t lose tummy fat is because you still have a lot of body-fat at other regions of your body.

That’s why you can’t lose tummy fat by just doing ab exercises because you’ll only burn some calories and no fat at all.

So now you know how your body stores fat you now need to know how to lose it by doing the right workouts.

If you want to lose tummy fat and have a six pack ab it all comes down to lowering your body-fat percentage.

For women it should be enough to get it to 17 – 19% and for men 12 – 14% for your abs to be visible, but it isn’t always true you’ll just have to do it and see it for yourself.

Most often then not when you get to this body-fat percentage your abs will be visible without working them out too much.

1) Each time before eating you have to drink at least one glass of water, so that to be assured that your hunger level is reduced and your stomach is lined. Besides, it acts as the psychological appetite suppressant, as the person tends to think that she or he has already had a supper, even though he or she drank only a cup of tea or coffee. Every time we feel hunger, our brain sends us some signals emphasizing the need in water. Here you have to be very attentive not to substitute the water for coffee because caffeine leeches water from the organism. So, make sure, you use water only!!!!!!!
2) Before you eat the main dish, you are advisable to start with the salad because it is able to line the stomach and in such a way you begin an eating process from the low-caloric food. In case you would like to add flavor, you are recommended to use olive oil, as it possess many unsaturated fats that indeed are vitally important for our organism.
3) When you eat at home, you should use small plates, so that you will be not tempted to eat larger portions. If you do not believe me, the recent researches have shown that the restaurant business gets its profits thanks to the big dimensions of the plates they use. This, in reality, inspires people order much bigger portions that, of course, cost huge money in comparison with the other meals. However, you can make small experiment and compare how much can you eat from the small plates. Later, surely, you will make the same conclusions as I have. Finally, you will notice whether there is any difference between these two portions.
4) In case there are only the restaurants that used to serve only the large portions, you can utilize small trick by saying that you need to split this portion because you never finish it. Besides, you can mention the hungry homeless kids and you cannot allow yourself to act in such manner thanks to such situation on the streets. I am more than sure that they will believe you.
