Dyspepsia is caused by a variety of reasons aside from overeating or lack of a well-balanced meal. Scientists have proven that most illnesses are stress-related and one of these is Dyspepsia or simply, indigestion. Indigestion may not be too great an issue for some people, but for most it can be a matter of life and death since it can lead to more serious digestive problems over time.
Under stress, the body releases special hormones like adrenaline which is secreted by the adrenal glands. As adrenaline rushes, the heart rate increases. These often cause the digestive system to react and suddenly symptoms like dizziness, abdominal pain and heartburn occur. You can manage your stress by mastering some basic techniques. The first technique is performing some relaxation exercises. Relaxation exercises are overly simple and can be done without any aid from exercise machines. You can perform some muscle relaxation exercise to release tension from your shoulders and back. Develop breathing techniques too by practicing long and deep breaths instead of short and quick ones.

Yes we have to because we are dealing with the reaction of the digestive system when eating under the influence of stress. To avoid indigestion, relieve yourself first of any stress before eating. Eat sitting down and not standing up. Take your bites more slowly. The point here is to not stress yourself, so enjoy what you are eating.
Enjoying what you eat doesn’t necessarily mean you can eat about just anything you want. Watch what you eat and keep your digestive system healthy. Eat more glow foods which include fruits and vegetables. Fiber-rich food like apple and oats will also help you digest your food better.
The best way to deal with stress is to manage it. You can’t avoid it since you are living in a fast-paced world. But having the right attitude and knowledge helps you to take control of your situation and not let stress affect you in a colossal scale.
